Lets start with downloading the file.
First, on the deviation page, click where it says "Download".
This should bring up a window that has the following options: Open, Save, or Cancel
Choose "Save" or "Save to disk", depending on your browser
Depending on your settings, one of two things will happen.
Either a window will open asking you where you want to save the file, or the file will automatically save to a preset location.
Once the file is on your computer, click the "Start" button on your task bar
When the window comes up, click on "Control Panel"
when the next windo pops up, you will see one of two things, either a blue screen with about 9 icons, or a white screen with quite a few more.
If it's a blue screen, click on the link on the left side of the screen that says "Switch to Classic View"
You will then see the White screen that i refered to.
Once at the white screen, click on the Icon that says "Mouse".
(The icon will also be shaped like a mouse)
A new window will now come up called "Mouse Properties"
In this window are several tabs marked "Buttons, Pointers, Pointer Options, Wheel, Hardware" Laptop users may have more tabs, but you should still have atleast these.
Now, go to the tab mark Pointers.
You should see a section of the window marked Customize, underwhich there are several cursors.
To customize each cursor, highlight the type of cursor you wish to change then double click it. A file browser window will pop up. Find the path to where you have saved the cursors, then select the cursor oyu desire.
Once you have done this for all the cursors you wish to change, you may want to save the set-up as a Cursor Scheme.
From the same "Pointers" tab, you will see an area that says "Scheme" with buttons that say "Save As..." and "Delete". Click the "Save As..." button and a window will pop up saying "Save Scheme". In the Text Field, type the name you would like to give the theme, then click "Ok"
Now that your theme is saved, as long as the files are not moved, you will be able to change from one theme to another without having to set up the cursors again.
To change themes, simple go back to the "Scheme" Section under the "Pointers" tab and click the down arrow next to the Text Field. This will provide a list of all the Themes on your computer, and any that you have saved.
Once you have completed these steps, click "Ok" at the bottom of the window.
You're all done! ^_^
Now, enjoy your new Cursor Set,
